Is this product for me? This kit is recommended for all skin types. It is ideal for dark spots, uneven texture, uneven pigment, post-breakout skin damage, sun damage and fine lines. This kit should first be used twice a week, at night only. Since it is high in glycolic acid, the Skin Eraser may make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It is recommended that sun exposure be avoided while using this kit and/or an SPF of at least 30 should be used. If your skin reacts well after the first 2 uses, you many continue to use this product for 5 days on and then take a 5 day break. The use of a moisturizer is highly recommended while using this kit. We recommend the use of the H-Series Moisturizer at night, followed by the Oil-Free Sunscreen with SPF 30 during the day. Skin Eraser Ascorbic-Glycolic-Lactic acid fortified treatment effectively exfoliates the upper layers of the skin helping minimize imperfections, dullness, hyperpigmentation, discoloration, bumpiness and fine lines and wrinkles. Visible Skin Damage from Acne : Is it Permanent?
Scarring occurs as a result of injury to the skin. As skin heals from an injury, what can often happen is fibrous tissue replaces normal skin when the healing occurs. This may leave a raised scar or bumpiness under the skin. What can also happen is that body tends to “overreact” and send more pigment to the location of the injury and cause a visible increased darkness to occur (hyperpigmentation). This can subside by itself over time or can be aided by the use of various exfoliation techniques or pigment corrective products.

Important Rules to Prevent and Treat Scars:

• Always treat Acne. Never let a pimple just "take its course". Treat with Derma Cleanse^® Acne Gel or the Botanical Acne Mask. Salicylic acid is proven to speed up healing time and help exfoliate the skin to prevent the pimple from growing larger.
• Never pop or pick at a pimple. By piercing the skin you are damaging the skin purposely. Use warm compresses or compresses dipped in AHA/BHA Complex.
• If your skin is prone to freckling and sun spots, never leave the house without sunscreen. ZENMED^® Oil-Free Sunscreen with SPF 30 is ideal under makeup and will not clog pores.
• If you are noticing any pigment changes to your skin while being on birth control, talk to your Doctor immediately.
• When you are exfoliating the skin, it is particularly sensitive to the sun and other elements. Protect it and only exfoliate at night before bed to maximize results.
• Do not lose hope. Exfoliate consistently and religiously. You will get amazing results through perseverance. Strive to skip the cover-up! The "fresh face" is always in.
