I am 43 years old and have suffered from mild to moderate Rosacea my entire life until I turn 40, then it has become chronic. I just had the worst Rosacea breakout in my entire life. The more I tried to treat it the worse it became over a 5 week period. I started researching online everything about Rosacea. That's when I ran across ZenMed and the great online posts of success stories. I was so concerned about spending $60 on a kit that in my mind wasn't going to work for me at all but it was the BEST money I have ever spent! I want you to understand that my skin.....EVERYTHING you put on my skin irriates it. It becomes red, large bumps (rash like), dry patches (all from my skin trying to heal from the irritations.) These did nothing but make it worse: Moisterizers, make up removers, sunscreen... I have tried everything.... so I gave up after this last chronic flare up and called my dermitologist again. This was 3 days after I ordered ZenMed online. I had no choice because I felt hopeless and I was leaving for vacation in 13 days. I went in to the dermatologist and he examined my face without makeup. He looked me over for 10 minutes he just stared me. No acne.... all Rosacea that he asked if it was in my eyes it was so bad. My skin itched all the time when it had gotten this bad. He put me on oral medicines no topical. The dermitologist said there isn't anything he could treat topically. I told him about everything breaking my skin out and he said to use Crue'l moisterizer and dove unscented soap for cleansing. Zen Med came in the very day I was leaving for my vacation of 1 week. So I left it on my counter because I wanted to look my best on vacation.... which wasn't my best (I was so embarrassed inside) riding on a bus with 33 other adults for 2 days. When I returned from my vacation my face was getting worse again. The medicine worked a little but it was spreading again. I started on the ZenMed as a last resort. Within 2 days it was better and my skin felt so nice. The redness wasn't as bad and the bumps where smoothing out. By the 5th day I had used the face mask 2 times and the cleasner day and night along with the serum 2x a day morning and night. I always followed up with the moisterizer because of my dry patches. Today is officially a week on ZenMed. My face is perfect I can go without makeup anywhere! I am so Thankful for your products and I plan on telling everyone. I ordered the ZenMed skin support system for oily skin about Two and a half weeks ago...... I was "diagnosed" with Roscea by my dermatologist last year in August. I was prescribed a topical cream to treat the little pimples and pustules I was getting all over my forehead but, was given no other instructions on how to care for my skin. So i used mt very popular exfoliating acne cleanser and the prescription rosacea cream and within a few months my skin got way, WAY worse. The I changed to a skin care line that I do trust is great for a lot of skin conditions. And in the first week I thought I had found an answer to the rosacea issues but after the first week I started developing cystic acne and had to change my routine and the papules and pustules of the rosacea came back with a vengeance! It got to the point that I was in tears. I refused to go to work and shifted all appointments around my skins appearance. I then filled a perscription for an oral rosacea treatment which I think has helped but, first..... I ordered the ZenMed skin support system. Within the first 24 hours my skin was noticeably different as far as texture and tone. By the 3rd day all the little pimples and papules and pustules started disappearing. By the beginning of the second week it was like my skin had been completely transformed. There are still a coupe of little pimples that show up here and there but nothing that I haven't been able to take care of over night. Now moving into the third week I am literally shocked and amazed. I give a TON of credit to the support serum and the nutrient booster spray. I have not used the perscription rosacea cream in two weeks (NOT ONCE) these products have done more for my skin than that cream ever did. I am so happy that I went with my gut feeling when ordering this product. In a way it totally saved mt sanity. I just got my order for the Zenmed kit for Rosacea. I have used the face wash twice, the anti-redness mask once and the face serum twice. I could not believe the difference in my skin when I woke up this morning. The bumps are smoothing out, texture is much better and the redness is about 1/2 of what is was last night. I am very encouraged by this product. I have spent so much money on things that did not work but this stuff is amazing! Thank you!!!

Adult acne - I have tried just about everything in every price bracket. Now I'm not saying it's completly gone, but this is the best my skin has looked since before puberty. (I'm two months in with the combination skin acne product)

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea has become a very common skin condition mainly because of the fact that it was often misdiagnosed in the past. An excessive, sometimes unexplainable redness, ruddiness, and flakiness ultimately leads to the appearance of broken capillaries under the surface of the skin and a constant red and ruddy appearance. It is also often associated with acne-type bumps and pustules.

What Causes Rosacea?

A genetic propensity, particularly being of Northern European heritage can increase your chances for developing Rosacea and Rosacea-like symptoms. Triggers also play a very important role in understanding what can cause "flare-ups", those moments of flushing and redness that the sufferer can feel coming on. These triggers can be many things, most often alcohol, spicy or hot foods, stress, caffeine, chronic sun exposure, cold weather, and overly dry climates.

What Treatments Are There For Rosacea?

Every case is different based on the severity of the condition as well as damage already done to the skin. Many ZENMED customers have already gone the route of oral and topical antibiotics, creams such as Metrogel containing actives like metronidazole. Lasers can also be used but tend to be very costly. Using sunscreen is very important, especially non-irritating types such as the ZENMED Oil-Free Sunscreen with SPF 30.
